Search Within, as the name suggests, is a quest into our own being, as well as into the being of all things around. We wish to promote self-knowledge through self-realization. In order to achieve this goal we have resorted to propagate the intrinsic spirit of all branches of knowledge and education – physiology, psychology, sociology, astrology, law, economics and last but not the least, spiritualism.
Our management approach to all problems is basically three dimensional – physical or material, psychological and spiritual. We conduct our study and analysis on these concepts and accordingly offer counsel and teach management skills.
Too much of stress in every aspect of modern life is taking its toll on both the physical and the mental health of people and their relationships. Search Within was conceived with a vision, which sought to bring back balance in human lives.

Why Did We Start?
Search Within was conceived with a vision, which sought to bring back balance in human lives. Too much of stress in every aspect of modern life is taking its toll on both the physical and the mental health of people and their relationships.
This plight of modern man grieved many of us, and we desperately desired to bring about a positive change. But as it is rightly said that a vision without action is a mere dream, so we joined hands and resolved to get Search Within registered.
On 21st of September 2015, Search Within obtained registration under West Bengal Societies Registration ActXXVI of 1961. Presently, we are also NGO Darpan / Niti Ayog registered.
Our GOALS
We are a group of like-minded professional people (doctors, psychologists, counselors, lawyers, teachers, astrologers, etc.), who intend to render an all round help to the society. While the poor need food for survival of their bodies, the intellectual need food for their mind and the rich need food for their soul. Dharma-Artha-Kama-Moksha — we are trying to stabilize the society on its 4 pillars.
Our OBJECTIVES
- Spreading awareness regarding psychological well-being and mental health issues.
- Removing the stigma attached to the concept of seeking timely help for both the affected and the care giver.
- Providing physical, mental and spiritual support for all and sundry.
- Making psycho-education and spiritualism compulsory in all educational and professional fields.
- Making pre marriage counseling and pre parental counselling obligatory.

The name itself seemed to convey a wonderful meaning and meaningfulness to life. Soon when I came to know about it’s vision, I could very well identify it with the principles and thoughts of mine about the purpose and aspects of life. I could relate with it … mental health, is definitely very important and trying to seek happiness and peace through the process of self realisation, holistic thinking and development of spiritualism is the actual goal. Many a times we see that organisations divert away from their goals and mission, from the core ideas with which it started. To be honest it was one person whom me n my wife met on a few professional counselling sessions that turned out to be a total win win n she earned our trust. Yes, we believe her endeavors can deliver ‘quantum of solace’ to many during such horrifying spell of the Covid 19 pandemic. That is why I volunteered.
